Among the products exempted from customs duties are meat, fish, dairy products, fruits and vegetable oils. In addition, the practice of applying tariffs at an increased rate when importing food will be suspended.

The President noted that measures to support the uninterrupted supply of food to the population will be further expanded.

To do this, until January 1, 2023:

ꞏ 22 types of consumer and food products (meat, fish, dairy products, fruits, vegetable oil) will be exempt from customs duties;

ꞏ the application of tariffs on food imports at an increased rate will be suspended;
ꞏ restrictions on food imports in public procurement will be temporarily lifted.

The powers of the Antimonopoly Committee on cases of unjustified increase in prices in the market, violation of competition, obstruction of market entry will be strengthened.

The regional khokims were instructed to provide practical assistance in all processes related to lending, logistics and import to entrepreneurs importing products that are in short supply in their territory.
