Magnit, the Russian retail chain, has launched direct vegetable supplies from Uzbekistan
The Russian retail chain Magnit has launched direct purchases of farm products from Uzbekistan in the format of an agro-aggregator.
The first batch amounted to 17 tons of carrots from the Fergana Valley and was sent to a distribution center in Russia.
Deliveries are carried out in cooperation with Uzagrostar Holding: farms deliver products to partner warehouses, where they are prepared in accordance with network standards.
As part of the development of cooperation, in 2026 it is planned to supply at least 1,500 tons of vegetables and fruits under direct contracts.
The implementation of this model allows us to optimize supply chains, reduce the number of intermediaries and ensure a more stable supply of fresh products to the market.
