Business in Full Swing: UzFood 2026 Launches a Game-Changing Chains Wholesale Centre

Chains Wholesale Centre 2026

The Chains Wholesale Centre was organised as part of the business programme of the 25th Anniversary International Exhibition on Food, Ingredients and Food Technologies – UzFood 2026. The initiative represented a new format of the established Retail Centre, the business arena of the UzFood exhibition, which remains unmatched in Uzbekistan since 2019.

This year, from the very first hours of operation until the final minutes, the Centre sparked strong interest and delivered impressive business records for Uzbekistan. Over the course of two days, the platform brought together 270 participants, including exhibitors at the UzFood exhibition. A total of 862 negotiations were conducted, 93.6% of which proved successful, 777 agreements were signed, preliminary contracts totalling $620,889,000 were concluded, and 240 commercial proposals were initiated.

Short negotiation sessions ensured dynamic interaction and enabled participants to reach concrete agreements swiftly. The results were recorded in real time and displayed on screens. Data collection and visualisation were powered by the Sale Tracker platform, provided by CEC Imperia Forum, in partnership with which the Retail Centre was delivered in this innovative format.

The Chains Wholesale Centre is a pre-scheduled one-to-one business meeting format. The event brought together retail chains from Uzbekistan and CIS countries, including Russia, Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyz Republic, as well as food and beverage producers. The parties discussed supply terms and cooperation.

The expanded geographical reach of participants and a twofold increase in the number of retailers created additional opportunities for direct contracts. The involvement of retail chains from the CIS countries opened new prospects for developing foreign trade links and boosting trade turnover.

The Chains Wholesale Centre has thus confirmed its effectiveness as a platform for practical solutions, reaching agreements and accelerating entry into new markets.
