According to the State Committee on Statistics, in January-June 2021, farms of all categories grew 3.17 million tons of vegetables. This is 4.4% more than in the same period of last year.

Dekhkan farms account for 85.3% of the total volume of vegetables grown.

In terms of regions, Andijan – 569,400 tons, Surkhandarya – 560,200 tons and Ferghana region – 415,000 tons occupy high positions in vegetable growing.

The Republic of Karakalpakstan with 46,500 tons, Jizzakh region with 58,400 tons and Navoi region with 66,200 tons occupy the last places in the cultivation of vegetables.
