Tea imports increased by US$2.7 million
In January-June 2021, Uzbekistan imported 15.3 thousand tons of tea from 20 foreign countries in the amount of US$20.2 million, the State Committee on Statistics said.
Compared to the corresponding period of last year, tea imports increased by US$2.7 million.
Exporting countries of tea to Uzbekistan for 6 months of 2021:
China – 12.1 thousand tons
Kenya – 1.1 thousand tons
Iran – 575.7 tons
Indonesia – 347.4 tons
India – 337.4 tons
Vietnam – 254.6 tons
Russia – 216.9 tons
Sri Lanka – 211.4 tons
UAE – 148.9 tons
