For the first nine months of this year, more than 149 tonnes of fish products in the amount of US$588,800 have been registered under the customs export regime in Uzbekistan.

Foreign exchange earnings from the export of fish products increased by 235%.

According to the State Customs Committee, the bulk of fish products - 84% - are exported to Turkey.

Also, this year, the export of fish products to Tajikistan increased 7 times and Kazakhstan - 30 times.
