Which region has the most vegetables grown in 2020?
According to the State Committee on Statistics, 10.4 million tons of vegetables were grown in the republic in 2020. This is 102.4% more than in the previous year.
The volume of grown vegetables by region:
Karakalpakstan – 287.7 thousand tonnes
Andijan – 1 611.0 thousand tonnes
Bukhara – 768.6 thousand tonnes
Jizzakh – 425.3 thousand tonnes
Kashkadarya – 495.6 thousand tonnes
Navoi – 291.1 thousand tonnes
Namangan – 831.7 thousand tonnes
Samarkand – 1 636.3 thousand tonnes
Surkhandarya – 1,013. 5 thousand tonnes
Syrdarya – 307.0 thousand tonnes
Tashkent – 1 066,9 thousand tonnes
