UzFood: 25 Years of Shaping the Food Industry Together

The 25th Anniversary International Exhibition on Food, Ingredients and Food Technologies – UzFood 2026 will open its exposition from 1 to 3 April, at Uzexpocentre NEC.
Event organisers: Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company in partnership with ICA Eurasia Group.
In 2025, the country’s food industry produced food products worth UZS 152.1 trillion, which is 9.7% higher as compared in 2024. This growth indicates a stable positive dynamic in the industry and the processing sector, and also reflects the expansion of production activity, which is of key importance for the domestic market and ensuring food security.
As the largest food industry exhibition in Uzbekistan, UzFood has maintained the high standard of the most authoritative exhibition event in the sector for a quarter of a century. Since its launch in 2000, the exhibition has undergone rebranding stages — from InterFood Uzbekistan and WorldFood Uzbekistan to the modern UzFood — and consistently reflects the key trends and transformations of the industry.
Since its inception, UzFood has attracted more than 3,500 companies and brands from 56 countries, while 123,674 professionals have attended the exhibition.
The exhibition plays an important role in implementing the Law of Uzbekistan on Food Security, contributing to the development of domestic enterprises through the demonstration of cutting-edge equipment and technologies. UzFood provides access to solutions from leading global brands, enabling manufacturers to upgrade production, improve quality and product range, and increase output volumes.
For the first time since gaining independence, Uzbekistan will host a food industry exhibition on this scale. UzFood 2026 is set to mark a milestone edition, exceeding the scope and performance of all previous food industry exhibitions in the country:
- By exhibition space — for the first time in its history, UzFood 2026 will occupy all exhibition pavilions: No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, as well as Atrium Halls 1 and 2. High demand from participants required utilising an additional Pavilion No. 5.
- By the number of participating exhibitors and countries – 529 companies from 26 countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Austria, Republic of Belarus, Bulgaria, China, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Korea, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, the UAE, the USA, and Uzbekistan.
The growing market of Uzbekistan and boosting purchasing power are increasingly attracting attention from foreign businesses — the share of international companies this year stands at 80% of the total number of participants. Mongolia participates in the exhibition for the first time.
Top 5 foreign countries by number of participants: China, Russia, Republic of Korea, Poland, and Republic of Belarus.

The wide range presented by the companies from Uzbekistan includes packaging materials and lines, filtration and purification systems, food and confectionery equipment, meat-processing and dairy equipment, bottling lines, coffee and tea, meat and semi-finished products, canned fish, dairy products, snacks, ingredients, confectionery, beverages, fruit and vegetable products and sunflower oil.

The business arena — Retail Centre, which has no analogue in Uzbekistan, will be held this year in a new format — the Chains Wholesale Centre, and will ensure direct negotiations between food suppliers and wholesale buyers. The expansion of participant geography and the doubled number of retailers create additional opportunities for direct contracts. The debut participation of Russian retail chains opens new prospects for the development of foreign trade relations and the increase of export-import volumes.
The Chains Wholesale Centre will operate on 1–2 April at Uzexpocentre NEC, Congress Hall 2.
The business programme will also include masterclasses, presentations of new equipment and industry events, the technologies of which will soon be introduced into production and trade in Uzbekistan.
