KEY PLAYERS OF FOOD INDUSTRY AT UzFOOD 2023!
The International Exhibition UzFood 2023 for Food, Ingredients and Food Technologies will deploy its 22nd exposition in Pavilions No. 1, 2, 3 and Atrium Hall 2 of the Uzexpocentre NEC from March 28 to 30, 2023.
The event is organized by Iteca Exhibitions, the International Exhibition Company, and its partner ICA Eurasia Group.
Ensuring food security in today`s realities is one of the priorities for sustainable development. Many challenges as climate change, shifting established supply routes, changing market conditions, and population growth make it very relevant to hold UzFood exhibition, which represents the entire production chain - from field and farm to food products, including processing, packaging and storage.
For more than two decades, UzFood has been the leading exhibition of the food industry, acting as an effective platform for implementation of programme measures taken by the Government of Uzbekistan to develop the industry, support and promote the domestic production. At the same time, the goals of the exhibition fully coincide with the ongoing programs aimed primarily at providing the population with food, as well as to assist domestic businesses to develop their production using modern technologies, and to establish export supplies.
UzFood 2023 has traditionally prepared a review of the latest equipment and technologies for the food and processing industry, packaging and storage, a wide range of foodstuff and beverages.
It is gratifying to note that this year the exhibition shows the best result for the entire time of its history. For the first time, the exposition occupies all three central pavilions and Atrium hall.
The widest range of finished products will be presented in Pavilion No. 3, where the participants are split in sections: meat and poultry, dairy products, confectionery, groceries, drinks, food ingredients and more.
In Pavilion No. 1 they will demonstrate a wide range of equipment: meat processing, for dairy industry, oil and fat production, confectionery industry, baking and cooling.
A special section of the exhibition O`ZuPACK for Packaging, Equipment and Materials will deploy its exposition in Pavilion No. 2 and present everything required for the packaging industry: packaging and printing equipment, filling equipment, bottling and capping, caps, soft, paper and vacuum packaging, printing, marking and labelling.
In total, a record number of participants will present their products at UzFood 2023 - over 280 companies from 26 countries: Austria, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Belarus, Bulgaria, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, PRC, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, the Netherlands, the UAE, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, the USA, Turkiye, Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka. In terms of the number of participants, UzFood 2023 has exceeded the figures of the previous year by one and a half times; the exposition area has increased by more than 60%. The permanent participants occupy up 60% of the total space, while 40% are debutants.
The top 5 countries included: China (67 companies), Russia (47 companies), Turkiye (38 companies), Belarus (21 companies) Germany (21 companies), Italy (13 companies).
Austria, Belarus, Germany and Pakistan participate with their national expositions. At the Austrian national stand, the companies will demonstrate food equipment, coffee and coffee machines, food flavourings.
The companies from Belarus brought a huge range of meat and dairy products - sausages, deli meats, smoked meats, semi-finished products, cheeses, butter, cottage cheese, milk, cottage cheese, yogurt and much more.
Germany will present technologies for bakery, refrigeration, packaging and meat processing equipment under the “Made in Germany” quality mark.
At the national stand of Pakistan, the visitors will observe confectionery, soft drinks, groceries, cereals, meat products and much more.
It is not the first time when the exhibition is attended by the collective stand of Afghanistan, which will present dried fruits, juices, nuts and other food products.
The regions of the Russian Federation - Omsk, Kaliningrad, Penza regions, Altai Territory, the Republic of Bashkortostan - are also represented by their collective stands. They offer a wide range of equipment (for cheese making, cleaning, packaging, baking, etc.) and finished food products (confectionery, meat products, cereals, pasta, flour, natural honey, and more).
The variety of famous Ceylon tea can be found at the stand of Tea Council from Sri Lanka.
The companies from China and Turkiye are widely represented. Their stands showcase equipment for roasting nuts, confectionery equipment, bottling equipment, equipment for production of sweets and machines for food packaging, as well as finished products: tea, cream, milk powder, cocoa powder and products from it, oil and fat products and others.
The following companies are among the debutants of the exhibition: EDMARK INDUSTRIES (Malaysia), CIN-KAZ (Kazakhstan), COLIAN (Poland), BEGARAT (Germany), NAVATTA (Italy), and others.
The permanent participants include: FUTURA (Italy), CAOTECH (the Netherlands), PANEMOR, KROMEL, BIGTEM (Turkey), VINIKS, CANDY HOLDING, EUROSNAB (Uzbekistan), NIKOS HRANENGINEERING (Bulgaria), TAS SINTEZ (Kazakhstan), JIANGSU JINRONG (PRC), TOKK Packing Plant (Russia), MOGELIT (RB) and others.
Participation of the domestic companies with a wide range of packaging equipment, confectionery products, ingredients, fat and oil products, software for food production automation, etc. deserve a particular attention.
he only specialised platform in Uzbekistan - a Retail Centre will provide a unique opportunity for suppliers and buyers to conduct direct negotiations on deliveries from production facilities directly to the counter. This year, 11 retailers will take part in the Retail Centre: Korzinka.uz, Makro Supermarket, Baraka Market, Green Apple Market, Havas, Tiin Ulgurji Market, UzTobacco, The Mart, Fix Price, Bi1, as well as 55 food production companies.
Also, within the framework of the business programme of the exhibition the Uzbek-Belarusian Business Forum is planned with seminars organised by Bobst and BHS companies.
